It's been quite a while since our last post. We've had lots going on, including radio spots, video shoots, and a seemingly endless and amazing amount of shows. Just wanted to share with you our current list of gigs for this month. There are four in all, and then we are taking a self-imposed holiday break. Hi, everyone!

We have a lot going on right now, so I just wanted to do a brief update. We just wrapped up a weekend of shows and, thanks to YOUR votes, we were selected as one of the Top 5 finalists for the 99X/Cabo Wabo Your Shot To Rock Contest. The second round of the contest takes place THIS THURSDAY at Vinyl in Atlanta. It's a free show starting at 8:00 PM, 21, so feel free to join in on the fun!

If you haven't gotten a copy of the album yet, you can pick it up at itunes, amazon.com, bestbuy.com, emusic, or your local indie music store. You can also pick one up at a show, along with stickers, buttons, and t-shirts!

Hello, everyone!

A few days ago, we may have asked you via email or social network to vote for us in the 99X Your Shot to Rock contest. The 99X website has been up and down, and was finally reset. The good news is, you can vote again. The bad news is, the website/server somehow lost all our votes, moving us from 2nd place to being tied for dead last.

If you can take a moment to vote (or vote again), we would really appreciate it. You can vote often, and since the website has been fixed, you no longer have to “register” to vote. It is as simple as a click by “Night Driving in Small Towns” and a click of the “Submit” button. Easy!

NDIST News!

Hello, everyone! Just wanted to keep you updated with all the goings-on. We had an amazing time at our Zombie Dance Party / CD Release Show on May 21st! Batterman Photography professional photos from the event are available for viewing here and Steven at TheLowFive took some great professional photos as well. Many thanks to everyone involved, especially the other bands (Oryx & Crake and Today the Moon, Tomorrow the Sun) and Lower 40 Records, our home away from home! Such a great night.

NDIST has been keeping busy since the party to end all parties, as well. The segment/interview we recorded with Comcast's Bands on Demand at the Get Him To The Greek premiere debuted last week. If you have Comcast Atlanta Channel 1, check it out! If not, photos of the event are available here.

More fun times: this past Wednesday, we headed over on a day trip to Nashville; while there, we recorded a segment for Balcony TV Nashville. We will share that with you when it becomes available.

As of right now, we are all winding down from the Memorial Day holiday. We're currently working on more regional show dates. Our current show dates are included on the fun little widget embedded below. Hope you all had a great holiday!

CD Release Party Saturday, May 21st!

Join Night Driving as we celebrate our album release this Friday, May 21, 2010! It will be an entire night of fantastic themed bliss with bands ORYX & CRAKE, NIGHT DRIVING IN SMALL TOWNS, and TODAY THE MOON, TOMORROW THE SUN.

The LOWER 40 RECORDS crew will be on hand to take care of you guys, and will be giving out FREE COPIES OF NIGHT DRIVING'S NEW DISC, SERIAL KILLER, with admission!!!

Who better than Shane Morton (Professor Morte from Silver Scream Spook Show) to do ZOMBIE MAKEUP? He will be doing so from 7-9 PM.

Resident Zombie Photographer Dave Batterman Photography will be on site to do ZOMBIE PORTRAITS.

Music starts at 8:30 with O&C, then NDIST, then TTM, TTS.

After the live music, DJs Cheese Pizza and DJ Heart Attack will be spinning their favorite records until we all get kicked out!

We are SO excited and hope to see you out!

Album Out In Less Than Two Weeks! Album Release Party News & Updated Show Calendar!

Hey, everyone! We are SO excited that the album will finally be out in less than two weeks! The official release date is Tuesday, April 20th, but you can pre-order online now at Lower 40 Records, BestBuy.com, Amazon.com, etc. You can also get it on iTunes and from various other online distributors, or you can pick up a hard copy at your favorite brick-and-mortar indie record store. If they don't have it in stock, ask them to order it for you. :)

Mark your calendars with yet another date: the CD Release Party for the album will be May 21st at Highland Ballroom. NDIST will be sharing the stage with Oryx & Crake and Today the Moon, Tomorrow the Sun!

And are you ready for the best part?

The whole thing will be themed to go along with the album concept (Serial Killer). That's right: A ZOMBIE DANCE PARTY!!!

The night will be complete with the bands mentioned above, two dj's (DJ Heart Attack and DJ Cheese Pizza), zombie makeup and decor, and live posed photography by Batterman Photo, the photographer who took our lovely promos in February!

Are you excited yet????? We are!!!!!!!!
